If you use the Vista slide show screensaver and get the following error:

It may be the database file is corrupt, in which case navigate to:

and delete ‘Pictures.pd4’. It may also help to remove any video files from the target directory, although the screensaver will play certain video formats.

If your still getting the error after following these steps try reducing the number of images in the target directory – this is a last resort.
